Lough Hyne
Introduction
Lough Hyne is a sea lough, about 5 km southwest of Skibbereen. It was designated as Ireland's first Marine Nature Reserve in 1981 and is a wonderful place to visit whether on holidays in West Cork, on your Staycation or for those living in West Cork that may not have discovered this gem yet.

Picnic Area - Knockomagh Summit Walk (2km) - Jumping in the water at high tide - Snorkelling - Swimming (beware the water is deep, experienced swimmers)
Top Tip
The Moonlight/Starlight Kayaking Experience with Atlantic Sea Kayaking……we did this last year and it was a most amazing experience :)
