Our June special guest, Catherine Ronan, will launch her debut poetry collection Elemental Skin at DeBarra's Spoken Word on December 6 from 8:30pm. It is published by Revival Press, an imprint of the Limerick Writers' Centre. Its Managing Editor, Dominic Taylor, explains his motivation in a video interview (and in the West Cork People): "Catherine brought me into a place that I'm very interested in – the mythical/mystical realm. She has a visionary ability. It's how the ancient Fili, poets of ancient Ireland, wrote their poetry." The collection will be launched by the distinguished poet who often graces DeBarra's with his presence, Anton Floyd.
